King Charles III picks Davido’s ‘Kante’ as one of his favorite songs

The King of the United Kingdom, King Charles III, has officially included Nigerian music star, Davido’s hit song ‘Kante’ among his favourite tracks in a newly launched royal playlist.

The monarch made the revelation in a video released on Monday as part of The King’s Music Room project, which celebrates songs that bring him joy and hold personal significance.

Speaking about the track, King Charles said, “It is by the Nigerian artiste, Davido, and it is called Kante. It has all safely chosen lyrics in pidgin, which I love.
