A Nigerian legal practitioner, Ninnah Samuel, has expressed displeasure after she received a job application sent via an unprofessional email address.
Taking to Facebook to explain the situation, she stated that she did not notice the email address under her boss called her attention to it.
She urged job seekers to be intentional because most organizations take details into consideration.
“How on earth do you submit a CV and your email is Sexycynthia4Life@gmail.com If I trash this CV now, you will say we have judged you hastily and it has affected your mental health,” she wrote.
“I didn’t even notice it , it was my Boss that said who is this unserious human being of a joker ? You could just answer your name and surname together eg ninnahsamuel@gmail.com. imagine me using Sexyninnah4life . UN will never take me serious. Even I , will not take myself seriously. Let’s be intentional small, serious organizations take the tiniest details into consideration.”
