Cristiano Ronaldo’s son eligible to represent five countries at international level

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., the son of football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, is eligible to play for five different nations at the international level.

According to a report by Sports Outlet, 433, Ronaldo Jr. is eligible to play for Portugal through his father’s nationality, while his birth in the United States grants him automatic eligibility for the American national team.

His time in Spain, where he lived for three years before the age of 10 during his father’s spell at Real Madrid, also makes him a potential candidate for the Spanish national team, according to the report.

Additionally, his extended stay in England over five years during Ronaldo’s stints at Manchester United qualifies him for the Three Lions.

He can also represent Cape Verde, as he has family ties to the West African nation.
