Galatasaray and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has confirmed his return date from injury.
The 25-year-old, who sustained an injury during Galatasaray’s 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa, revealed in a video that he expects to return for the club’s next league match against Antalyaspor on October 19.
Osimhen’s injury occurred just after he netted twice in the game, before he was substituted at halftime.
The injury also ruled him out of Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.
Initially, Osimhen was expected to miss six weeks of action. But when questioned by Turkish journalist Caner Isbegendirenon his return date, he replied: “After the international break.”
