Eight people have been arrested for open defecation and urination in Lagos State.
They were arrested in Berger, the Lagos State Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed on X.
He shared a video of the suspects being paraded and wrote: “During monitoring and enforcement operation last night by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps @LAGESCOfficial Taskforce team, 8 individuals were arrested at Berger for open defecation and urination.”
This comes one week after Wahab disclosed on X that Officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps have arrested nine individuals caught engaging in open defecation in the Berger area of the state.
