Peter Okoye has slammed Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat singer, for calling Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi an opportunist.
Seun Kuti previously stated that it takes the effort of dedicated Nigerians, not an opportunist like Peter Obi, to save Nigeria.
In a recent interview with TheMicOnPodcast, Seun Kuti argued that despite his friendship with one of the Presidential candidates, Omoyele Sowore, he believes that only Nigerians can save the country.
He insisted that even if Sowore wins the election, he will be unable to function effectively in a country dominated by the PDP and the APC.
He went on to say that Peter Obi is an opportunist who switched to the LP after losing the PDP primaries.
Seun Kuti added that Obi is merely an internet president whose election begins and ends on social media, rather than in a reality in which he lacks structural background.
